A high frequency pathway of Conscious Awakening and Sacred Homecoming to Self.

We often don’t know how close our relationship with flowers is until we identify ourselves with a singular bloom.

When we are attracted to a particular flower, everything changes. Its subtle energy mirrors aspects of ourselves we previously ignored or simply didn’t see. Throughout our lives, the more we walk through our inner garden the more flowers we invite into our consciousness.

Roses, in particular, have a unique presence in our lives, often coming when our heart is ready to be opened. In this, rose-lovers are recognized as sensitive souls who are aware of the intrinsic depth of nature.

The rose is the symbol of love, beauty and devotion. They articulate our divine nature and they reflect back the deep wisdom of our hearts. Although rose-lovers could be confused by their sensitive souls, they too are strong; capable of defending themselves and can endure stress by channelling inner spiritual wisdom.

As this flower blooms, its buds gradually open to reveal blossoms with multiple layers — a spiritual depiction of wisdom unfolding. Unfurling from each bud, the rose also represents the feminine lineage, drawing from its link to Mary Magdalene and the Virgin of Guadalupe, as a symbol of pure femininity and clarity against a backdrop of human struggle.

The Bud & the Flower

Closer to my heart, the rose has always held profound meaning for me. My grandmother was a Mexican poet and, before she passed, she wrote me a poem called “The Bud and the Flower”.

In that poem, she saw us both reflected in a garden. Like roses, each one is in its own stage — some sprouting, others about to wither. As I started to observe the stages, the poem reinvigorated my fascination. As with everything, they follow a process: birth, growth and death. The cycles create rhythms and pulsations that open us to evolution and a deeper manifestation of life.

This series is a visual representation of my journey through the Way of the Rose. Beginning in obscurity, before returning to seed and, eventually, blooming. A journey through the mist, of deep introspection, healing, understanding and a final liberation.

The air looks foggy. Confusion arrives and you begin to lose clarity. You try to look outside and find your way, but you can't see. You start to lose mobility so it is important to stay still. You begin to understand that the answers are not outside. The key is to stay still in the middle of the mist.
The lack of visibility has helped you understand that the only way out is looking within. It is finding your own map within, daring to look at yourself in the mirror. Navigating this journey of silence and self discovery, you will create your own path. A path that is aligned with your truth. A truth that heals and frees your soul.
You start to look up. You start to feel the movement of your body, it feels unrestrained. You experience the freedom of being you. You allow yourself the expressiveness of your soul. By living your truth, you attract those who want to walk with you. Your tribe.
